Henry Corley says in an email:

Cyclists,

Team Earth Fare and the Cycle Center of SC welcome you all to our ongoing tuesday night training crit. Dubbed the "Tuesday Night Criterium World Championships", the race has it's own custom yellow series leader jersey based on weekly points and a write up is written every week and published at www.sccycling.com

The event is both fun and competitive, average speed is typically 26mph with a 50+ rider weekly turnout (see photo below). The course is 1.1 mile in length, very good pavement, rectangular, pretty much flat. The corners are square but very open and the course is safe, even in the rain. You're welcome to re-join the field if you are lapped.

The course is located at the Bluff Rd. Office Park at the intersection of I-77 and Bluff Rd., (on the south side of I-77), the entrance is marked by the 10' milk carton. The first map shows the Columbia area and course, the second map is the course itself, which is the rectangle formed by 1st St., 1st St. South and 2nd St. Cones and signs are set up for safety and free cold drinks are provided post-race.

Webmasters, please forward this invite to your mailing lists, all others, please forward to anyone you know...this is a good, fast training crit for those within driving distance, or if you're in Columbia on work or visiting.

If you have any questions or need more specific directions, please let me know,

Thanks,

Henry Corley
