Advice for Beginner racers: Stay in the back of the pack and make sure you have at least 15 to 20 feet of gap between you and last cyclist of the main pack incase they slow down. Never get to close to the main pack. Always wear a camel-pak to crits so you won't risk losing a water bottle and causing a wreck. 
Anything else: Drink plenty of milk minutes prior to riding.

Best result: 4 at the Iceman in Michigan, and several second in Canadian Road series

Favorite race course: the Michigan state champion open road course in Harbor Springs MI about 110 miles of bliss
Favorite place to ride: still new to the area- so in MI -Stockbridge Loop, 79 miles
Longest distance XC ride in one day: 32 miles poto, in Dexter MI, w/ waterloo loops
Training time on the road: more than off-road
Cross training: lifting mufflers at work 1000 times a day, and weights too
Supplements or sport drinks: combo- of Cytomax and Guinness
Special Powers: I like to climb - and I am very verbal, freaks out the others in the pack
Favorite part of biking: what isn't there to love
Greatest moment on a mountain bike: doing a wheelie across a bridge during the Iceman last year (4th) and having people say to me later on "you were that guy!" what a cool feeling.
Advice for Beginner racers: please take it easy on me

Greatest moment on a bike: Probably when an old teammate won the innaugral "Two Hours from Anywhere". Worked for 'em all day and felt like I'd won.
Advice for Beginner racers: Be cool for a year, learn from those around you (just ask), then come out swinging.
